Software as a service

Wherever you're headed, it takes more than luck or good timing to succeed in today's competitive and unpredictable marketplace. You need to be ready to respond quickly and creatively to changing customer demands and new market opportunities. These challenges encompass both your business processes and IT infrastructure. To move forward, you need a clear vision and strategy for achieving that vision.

SAAS

Since the cloud operates as a Software as a Service (SAAS) the model is moved to pay as you use rather than a large up front capital cost and since the software paradigm is 'scalable on demand'. In short hardware capacity can be scaled up and down and paid for as used therefore there is no need to buy vast amounts of hardware which is used 3 hours a night. You simply pay on use.

Hardware as a service

The SAAS model is an interesting new paradigm for banks - rather than invest up front the client is able to rent the service on a monthly basis paying only for the customisation service. Applications such as Force.com allow us to develop applications that fit there needs without having to spend large amounts up front for software or build from scratch additionally for a monthly rental is typically less than the traditional maintenance costs our clients can buy into a scalable platform reachable from anywhere in the world
This model ideally suits to organisation with heavily constrained budgets needing to make change but not having the cash to pay for them
